Welcome to Southern Essence Candle Co., where wellness meets craftsmanship. Founded by Dr. Trivia Coley, a licensed physical therapist turned artisan candle maker. Our journey began during the COVID-19 shutdown as a creative response to uncertain times. What started as a personal outlet quickly evolved into a purpose-driven brand, officially launched in September 2021.

Rooted in the comforting traditions of rural Georgia, our hand-poured candles are designed to evoke warmth, serenity, and nostalgia. We began with a paraffin-soy blend but soon transitioned to paraffin-free, health-conscious ingredients to ensure a cleaner, safer burn for every home.

At Southern Essence, we believe in giving back. That’s why 10% of all sales support the Dementia Care Champions Fund—an initiative close to our heart.
